Description

This former processional cross has been remounted on a new tripod base (three-footed). It features openwork decoration composed of three large volutes. The cross and the base are separated by a shaft ornamented with foliate motifs, which swells into a central knop. A small-scale figure of Christ is affixed to the cross, his face turned upward toward the sky. The foot is enriched with floral ornamentation.
