Description
The Virgin sits, a broad cloak drawn over her head, and holds on her knees the body of Christ, laid out with his head thrown back. The group occupies a niche in the chapel of Notre-Dame de la Pierre Taillée, known as the chapel of Usillon, built in 1668 by the inhabitants of the hamlet.
