Archaeological collection of the city of Seclin
Archaeological collection of the city of Seclin
The archaeological service of the city of Seclin studies and preserves the town's archaeological heritage. The collection brings together the architectural heritage of the town, such as the Saint-Piat collegiate church, and the material unearthed during the excavations carried out in the old centre, around the collegiate church and its canonical quarter.
This material was 3D digitized as part of a mediation project devoted to the excavations carried out by the service in 2024, presented in 2026 in the new performance venue “Nouveau Chapitre”. The project is supported by the DRAC Hauts-de-France as part of the ADNI call for projects.
